Where the Wild Things Are

Thank you Mr. Peltz for documenting our performance!

Our fabulous narrator...

"So, Max was sent to bed without eating anything."

May Work

Killer Whale Tales

As we learned about the Layers of the Earth we made edible models...  The crust was crushed graham cracker, the mantle was peanut butter, the outer core was jelly, and the inner core was a hot tamale.

Yummy

Snails and Homing Pigeons

We are now comparing land and water snails as a part of our science curriculum and had a blast watching them "race!"
These guys, didn't get too far!

One of our student's families has homing pigeons and to celebrate the end of our bird study, they brought them in to share with us... This one is named Squab, who is more of a people bird, and also suffered a foot injury when he/she landed on a hot frying pan... They could not save the toe!

Lovely...
